Pancrase Ring Girls Training Session
The Pancrase ring girls have always been my favorites, not only because they look good but they do a very good job! They have a rutine that is more than just holding up a sign, and when the event is over you find them in the hall ready to take pictures with the fans or selling t-shirts.

For those of you that have been following my blog for a while know that I have a lot of pictures of these girls.
It is unusual for a Japanese organisation to keep their ringgirls year after year, but Pancrase have kept Rika (left) and Yumi on for several years now and I am sure it is because of their work outside of the ring as well as in.
The Pancrase ringgirls have more than just a close working relationship, they are sisters, Rika Irie is the older. I have always wanted to show their rutine, but since I cant film in the arena it has not been possible. But now GBR have taken them to the gym for some pad work! Only one video is available for non-members, and it is the rutine! You can click the link under to have a look.

K-1 World GP 2009 in Yokohama - Ring-Girls
My piece on the Sengoku Ring-girls was one of the more popular post that I have made (no kidding)... If you missed it, its here.
From that we learned that the ring-girls normally do more than carry signs around, and hopefully we get to learn a bit more about what the K-1 girls does as well.

Saki Akai, born January 24 1987, have 3 videos out, there are "idol" type, which means running around in bikinies etc. There is a huge market for these type of videos in Japan, but I never really got into it. She is also a model, and was one of the santa girls on a Tempur exhibition. Here are some more picutres of her in action.
DVD Covers:
Maki Issou, born March 15 1989, also has 2 videos idol videos out. She has been a swimsuit model, and is from Ishikawa prefecture. Maki was also on the cover of Funride magazine in December 2008. Here are some pictures of her.

Eri Sakai, born September 28 1986, is an accomplished model, winning "Miss" type competitions in Japan. She also has 5 DVDs out, I have been able to find the cover of 2 and the back of 1 of them. She also likes dressing up for Christmas.

Eriko Fujimoto, born August 2 1981, is a very different kind of model, and was Japan's representative in the 2004 Miss World competition. She has also been on several TV shows in Japan. Here are some pictures of her.

Sengoku Ring-Girls
Sengoku have announced their Ring Girls for 2009. As a man, with hormones, this is something I always pay attention to.
I have had a pretty boring day,which started with me trying to make a gallery of Aoki tights. But somehow this project seemed like more fun.
The girls are:
Yuki Aikawa (24) 162cm/B:82 W:58 H:87
Nanao Arai (20) 170cm/B:80 W:60 H:85
Yui Sakuma (21) 165cm/B:90 W:58 H:85
Azusa Nishigawa (24) 168cm/B:84 W:56 H:83
Sana Yuuki (20) 158cm/B:80 W:58 H:80
Ring girls in Japan (as other places) tend to do other model jobs as well. I was not happy with the picuters provided, so I deceided to dig a bit.

For Nanao Arai and Yui Sakuma I found nothing, so their story ends here.

Yuki Aikawa is a popular race-queen. This means that she holds number plates and does commercial work at race meeting around Japan. This is the most common job for ring-girls actually.

Azusa Nishigawa (24)
Azusa is a very accomplished model. She has reached the final in Miss Universe Japan, in addition to that she also does some work as a race queen.
Sana Yuuki (20)
Sana Yuuki is also a race queen, but in addition to that she has a couple of DVDs out. I am not sure of the nature of the DVDs, but I will assume it is similar to this video of her. This is a promotion video of her as a race queen, you can see it here.
